The story behind the album:
In 2022, inspired by Royksopp's Profound Mysteries, I decided I wanted to make an album trilogy in a similar vein. It ended up sounding nothing like it. I had been wanting to release an album for 15 years but it never happened.
The albums encapsulate a time of my spiritual awakening happening amongst mental health struggles and intense sound sensitivity, a the music began pouring out of me. I invited guests to help me and wanted to create a sound healing space journey experience to calm myself and try to bring soothing, healing (a word I no longer relate to) feelings to as many people as I could reach.
It was a culmination of my life's music experience, from neighbour George Michael showing me his guitars; bringing in the feeling of my concert pianist, late grandmother's piano playing; my journey writing and recording music: my piano teacher at school introducing me to the first ever music software; and 2016's 100 Voices Project - Is Everything Going To Be OK? (The Beth Rowley (whose voice is my favourite female singers) vocal sample appears on the album and the first album contains an instrumental version of this track).
The first part was released in 2024, featuring several friends I was excited to invite, in both jams, and with remote vocal recordings improvised from around the world. The 2 part conclusion to the trilogy is released as one double album as it was birthed as one creation, almost rush released in August 2025 as one 10 track album, then I though it was complete in January 2026 with 16 tracks after Shuta Shinoda's mastering session in the Hertfordshire countryside. It continued to expand and I edited over most of the masters until it had to be two albums.
As I jammed with Natalie Nyree (Bird Song Symphony was a jam 30 minutes into our first session just after meeting), and I invited her to do harmonies on Is It All But A Dream in our second session.
Rainbow Soul is a good friend who I've worked together on many singing and meditation tracks.
Jamie is my favourite person in the world with my favourite male vocals, and An Angel In The Clouds was originally a poem to harp, when a year later he traveled to London to improvise the melody in 5 takes.
Now this is complete, please wish me luck on my next journey, writing a novel.

We Flow Through Infinite Dreams is Steve's debut collaborative charity album for mental health charity MIND, the first part of an epic 3 part album to be released over 2 years.
It's a cinematic, epic, meditative, healing, beautiful, chilled, transformative journey through space, "a universal dance and profound metamorphic vision of the stars and infinity".
An eclectic mix of Space-Fi, Neo-classical, Ambient, Electronic, New Age, Meditation Music, a Guided Space Journey, Shamanic, Experimental, Downbeat, Post-Rock and Chill-Out.
Steve weaves together Heavenly Layered Live and Sampled Female Vocals, Piano, Synth, Metallophone, Native American Flute, Harp, Handpan, Flute, Sampled Strings and Clarinet, Crystal Singing Bowls and Guitar.
Steve felt cocooned in his lounge studio, affected by his mental health, desiring to escape from the noise of the city outside which was triggering his mental health, into a world of dream-like creation, with the intention to create a healing, meditative masterpiece for himself and to send light and love to as many people as he could reach.
When he was playing his instruments and producing, he would call in divine powers, star beings and angels to assist him, with crystals around him, and locked in an deep, meditative flow state.
Featuring guest appearances from 100 Voices (including Beth Rowley, Daisy Chute and Kerry Fleur), Carolin Nobles, Kaya Rose Green, Space Hippies (Maris Rei and Ben Robins) and mastered by Philip Marsden. Superfans Aria J Fox and Collapsing The Particle guided and inspired him.

WeCreate + StevePaulSounds is the ambitious in-development expansion of this service, welcoming musicians at all stages in their career to collaborate, enabling online collaboration sessions, linking with charities, encouraging songs with positive messages, and offering to work from a music project with all Steve's best music inside to use as starting inspiration.
As part of this work Steve is offering his services as a music producer and videographer, including filming multi-camera 360VR live shows to musicians.
